Introduction
B.Com with computer application course was started in 2005 and M.Com with Computer Application course was started in 2015. The department was bifurcated and instituted as a separate department in 2018. So we have a separate department library. We follow ICT enabled class room teaching.
There are 6permanent teachers and all are Ph.D holders and two teachers received best teacher award. Board of study for updating the syllabus was conducted last year in which university nominee, a subject expert, an industrialist and an alumnus were members. The department conducts Alumni day on January 26th every year. Our faculty members are actively participating in the national and international seminars and published articles in various journals.
