Eco Club

Introduction

The ‘ECO-CLUB’ is established in the college during the academic year 2018-19. It comprises of two units with 150 student volunteers from various under graduate disciplines of the college. The ‘Eco Club’ is also a part of the extension activities offered by our college. It is a platform to spread the knowledge about ecofriendly environment and to stress the need of pollution from environment.
Objectives
To create awareness amongthe students about eco-friendly activities.
To makea clean and green campus.
To create knowledge about pollution free surroundings.
To insist the need for preservation and conservation of the components of environment by practicing sustainable development.

Activities

To maintain a clean, waste free campus.
To plant as many saplings and maintain a green environment.
To conduct programmes in the campus to create awareness on solid waste management, clean and healthy society.
To create awareness on plastic free environment.
To inculcate and emphasise reduce, recycle and reuse policy through posters, rallies, street play etc.
