Department of Biotechnology (DBT), New Delhi initiated and launched the Star College Scheme for improving logical, critical and innovative thinking to improve and inculcate hands on experimental experience with modern approaches towards technology development needed for modern biological studies at undergraduate (College) level.
The Departments of Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics have been selected by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, for financial assistance under the Star College Scheme and initiated from June, 2017.
